  • Every Saturday and Sunday during the summer free open air performances of Shakespeare's plays are held in the Dell ( between the Theatre and Holy Trinity church) Make use of our picnic chairs and basket!

  • If you wish to get away from the tourist hustle and bustle, stroll along the towpath downstream of Lucy's Mill, or the towpath upriver behind the Holiday Inn or take a walk around the grounds of Holy Trinity church.
  • Stratford-upon-Avon prides itself on its Christmas lights which are switched on at the end of November. The Guardian travel pages 24/12/2011 described them as "spectacular, making the historic town even more magical." There are guided town walks every day, even Christmas Day, just turn up at Waterside opposite the junction with Sheep street at 10-30am.(stratfordtownwalk.co.uk)
